Vacations are supposed to help you “get away” from the every day and relax. Vacations are supposed to be rejuvenating. Vacations can allow you to experience something you have not experienced before.
Today I am remembering our recent vacation to Charleston, SC. We made it home a week ago and have returned to work and our daily life requirements. I am remembering that I was able to disconnect from work, literally. No email, no appointments and no questions. I am remembering how I felt rejuvenated a week ago, ready to return to the “daily grind.” And I am also remembering what I was blessed enough to see, experience, learn about and eat while in Charleston.
We really did enjoy ourselves. We both have remarked that we would go back again if we have the opportunity. The photographs are reminders of our experiences in Charleston and those experiences we wished we could have had.
We are better people for having gone on vacation. For having traveled to another place and experienced something very different. Vacation was good for us. Charleston was good for us.

We are so happy for you that you were able to do this. Pictures are beautiful and many unique. Stories only add to the enjoyment of reading/hearing about this magnificent city. So glad God Blessed you both with this time.
