Do you ever have one of those days or one of those moments when you think or even remark out loud “Wow, I get to live here?” I did today.

Today we had a late lunch at a restaurant on the Columbia River. The food was quite good and the conversation was engaging. We got to eat outside on the deck. While enjoying it all I looked out to the East along the river and the sky was simply impressive.

The white and gray of the clouds stood out against the blue sky. These clouds slowly slid across the sky with the wind.

The white of the sailboats going past on the river were obvious against the green-brown water and also relaxing. You realize that is the way those sailers are choosing to enjoy this place we live.

There are so many different reasons to enjoy and feel blessed about where you live. Today was one where the peacefulness of the river and the colors of the sky reminded me that I feel blessed to live here.
